Effects of Concussions in Sports: Pros/Cons
http://tomconcussionsinsports.blogspot.com/2009/02/proscons.html
Effects of Concussions in Sports. Thursday, February 19, 2009. Impairment similar to conditions only previously seen in boxers. There is also the possibility. Of a rare occurrence. Called secondary shock syndrom. This can lead to severe brain damage or even to death. I am going to argue that return-to-play times should be increased because it is in the best interest of everybody who is involved.
