Don't be fooled by taxi drivers saying they are Mai Linh and then taking you to their doggy car. This happened to us in Saigon but I listened to my gut and walked away, much to the families horror.So glad I did. Other taxi driver are a nightmare! We got a Mai Linh. The bathroom was an out door one, only cold water, but it was hot enough to be a good thing. What a fantastic spread of food, more than you could ever eat and 5 STAR quality. About Me - Allan Sather. My first home when I first arrived, June, 1967. My room is far right, second floor with door open. My first job, personnel specialist, 52nd Signal Batt, Can Tho, South Vietnam. Headquarters was located in an old bank down town. During the Tet Offensive Viet Cong took over this building. US planes and helicopters attacked the building. This is the aftermath! The "old bank" was a target for motar rounds. Usually didn't do much harm! Fountain in city center, Can Tho, South Vietnam.
