On August 2, 2009. Currently, I do not like Texas. I have begun my voyage to Columbia, Missouri from Chandler, Arizona, and my mom and I are finding out that driving over halfway through Texas is not an easy task. We are currently 103 miles from Fort Worth after driving through El Paso. Needless to say, I hate driving through Texas! It seems like we are never going to get to Dallas. So far road trip = not fun. Continuing on our way, we found some small town, Big Spring, and we e. I have found out that th...

http://www.viewfrommizzou.blogspot.com/2009/01/i-was-taking-inventory-of-my-itunes.html

You can tell a lot about a person by their iTunes. On January 7, 2009. I was taking inventory of my iTunes earlier and I decided the make a list of which artists/groups from which I have the most songs. Here they are, in no particular order:. Stuck in the Middle. Take a look and listen to your iTunes. What does it say about you? PS Grey's Anatomy comes back tomorrow night! My life is complete. . There is nothing in the world so much like prayer as music is." - William P. Merrill. Want my posts via email?

view from Mizzou: Here I am...

http://www.viewfrommizzou.blogspot.com/2009/01/here-i-am.html

On January 19, 2009. I am finally here! After a three-hour flight, a run-in with a dead car battery, a two-hour car drive, and an Auto-Zone visit, I am finally back to Mizzou. I am now currently resting in my new room at the Pi Beta Phi sorority house in Columbia, MO. . Seems like things haven't changed too much here. It is still very cold and there are still lots of things to do. I can already tell that this week will consist of me unpacking my belongings in my room (ugh, not fun). . One Step, Two Steps.

http://www.viewfrommizzou.blogspot.com/2009/07/sweet-june.html

On July 6, 2009. It has been forever since I have actually blogged. For one, I have been overwhelmed by my summer schedule. Secondly, I am in the process of updating my blog with another website. Hopefully it will work out. But the good news is that I have complete my Spanish class and I am finished with Spanish for the rest of my life! The bad news is that now I start my journey with Economics, which will hopefully end around December. My internship has been going so well! Next week, my best friend Moll...

view from Mizzou: Many Goodbyes and Beginnings

http://www.viewfrommizzou.blogspot.com/2009/01/many-goodbyes.html

Many Goodbyes and Beginnings. On January 18, 2009. Compete, babysat a girl I used to babysit in high school, cheered on the Mizzou gymnastics. Team against the Arizona State Sun Devils, and started this wonderful blog! Looking back, I guess I accomplished more than I thought, but I still could have been more productive. . This semester will be another new beginning for me; I will be living in my sorority house (which will be an adventure for me in itself), I will have a new job at the TV station. Love yo...

view from Mizzou: New Media

http://www.viewfrommizzou.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-media.html

On January 5, 2009. Our world is slowly being run by the products of new media. Facebook and blogs are among the most popular outlets to release information via internet. One of my new personal favorites is Twitter. Twitter is slowly becoming the new Facebook, and I encourage anyone who hasn't visited the website and made a Twitter account to do so before you are behind. . And they update their Twitter several times a day, which is so cool because they keep family, friends, and fans in the know what the ...

Terra Incognita: 05/01/2011 - 06/01/2011

http://eversoe.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Back in January, my friend Mindy posted on Facebook a list of things she wanted to do before turning 30 this year. This inspired me to create my own list, which I'm calling my "30 Before 30." Some are big; some are minor. A handful I've already completed by the time I've gotten around to composing this blog post. Here they are (with commentary). 1 Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. A major thank you goes to my friend Kendra for being the impetus to get this to happen. 2 Fill up my passport pages. My fr...

Terra Incognita: Why I Travel: To Make New Friends

http://eversoe.blogspot.com/2010/09/why-i-travel-to-make-new-friends.html

Why I Travel: To Make New Friends. 5 in a series. I get a lot of strange looks when I tell people I travel by myself, but the truth is, I'm rarely alone. And I've never gone on a solo vacation where I didn't make at least one new friend. When I travel alone, I enjoy the time to focus on myself. I can be selfish in just about every decision I make. Don't feel like spending another day in a museum? I'll picnic in the park instead. Need an impromptu coffee shop visit? I'm on no one's schedule but my own.

Terra Incognita: 12/01/2009 - 01/01/2010

http://eversoe.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

Why I Travel: Because I Love Places of Transit. Airports. Train stations. Subway systems. Ferry ports. These places fascinate me. I love the comings-and-goings, the people-watching, the hubbub of movement as travelers board, disembark and hurry on their ways. This weekend my sister and I went to see Up in the Air. Some of my favorite scenes were in the various airports. I liked trying to identify the different terminals I'd been through. I just love soaking this stuff up. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Funny Sentences in My Inbox, version 12. I'm going to ease back into the blogging realm with a new edition of Funny Sentences (Without Context) in My Inbox. Enjoy. So yeah, now I'll have to go unspread the word. Personally, I believe that this printer is plotting against us and though it has won this battle, the war rages on.BTW just in case the printers do eventually win, let me be the first to put it in writing that I welcome our printer overlords and look forward to their benevolent reign. Why I Travel: To Visit Friends. From Last Night in London. I don't need much of an excuse to travel somewhere, but my favorite is to visit friends. Taking full advantage of this excuse, the past few years have taken me to:. St Lucia (Meg and Jon again). Lima (Laura and Gino). London again (several friends). Sydney (Meg and Jon.again). Why I Travel: A Series. Remember back in the day when I used to blog all the time? Back before Twitter came on the scene or Facebook went mainstream? Well, brace yourself, because I have a series of posts headed your way that will make it seem like 2003-2007 all over again. My First Scuba Adventure. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all I had to do. You wouldn't think it would be such a challenge. But tricking my brain into accepting that I really could breathe underwater took some convincing. Especially when the last time I talked my brain into such an ordeal the following happened:. A) I descended into the murky waters of Lake (un)Pleasant where I could only see about 2 feet in front of me. And how soothing. Yet this simple act, the very first thing we do without effort...
