Thursday, July 23, 2015. That Was a Week That Was. We thought we had been organised in using the back bedroom to store everything from the hall and bathroom but then the plumbers arrived. That meant emptying the airing cupboard too. And then they wanted the carpets and floorboards up as well. John was here alone as I had been rushed into hospital and so everything was moved rather quickly into the only room left, our bedroom! Well that was a bit of a mess. View From Our Hill: April 2015

http://viewfromourhill.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Sunday, 26 April 2015. 100 Shades of Grey? The cotton is to the top, with the keys on the left, the silk chiffon down the right and the habotai along the bottom. Another little bit of the old house immortalised. I will add them to this bag which has been my 'not sure what to do with it yet' bag for some time. Its one of those clear fronted ones that had a kingsize duvet in so fairly roomy and becoming a bit full! I'm trying to be strict! One of the must be finished items had a house added on Friday.

Saturday, 30 May 2015. A Little Bit of Sunshine. Thank you all so much for the messages on here and by email. You're all lovely. I hope I replied to everyone but the brain has been a little foggy. This week hasn't been fun but it's gone and we now move on. I've not been too much in the mood for making things so I thought I'd go around the garden instead which always cheers me up. When we moved in ten years ago it was more or less a field with some tree stumps in it! The security lights come on when the d...

View From Our Hill: March 2015

http://viewfromourhill.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html

Thursday, 26 March 2015. On Sunday we dropped the pups off with Elsa and Mike and headed off to London City Airport, not somewhere we've flown from before. John had arranged a few days away for us in the mountains of Mallorca before the build really begins, the builder is happily staying there making a start. We landed safely and drove to a wonderful hotel in Puigpunyent, had a wander, ate dinner and planned a little for the next day. What drives them to do such an act? We fly home in the morning. I stil...

Twisted Stitcher (Oz style). The trials and tribulations of someone who would like to consider herself a textile artist (amongst other things), but invariably feels quite inadequate! Thursday, January 20, 2011. Entered Dale's (The Thread Studio) competition on Facebook for a pack of Victory rayon threads and shock of shocks.I won! I'm on a bit of a roll, because I won a raffle prior to Christmas and now, this.up until the raffle, I had never won anything. So this is a bit of a surprise. Thanks, Dale!
