Route 1A Trail in Brevard and Indian River Counties. Friday, August 7: Dodging Showers. After a turn around the park, I headed out to the gate and took the trail south. Even on this sunny day, I would have shade for most of the trip. The entire trail is on the west side of the A1A, so that long shadows emerge as the sun lowers. The bike-log is fun to read and I should think it will have/already has a good audience in central Florida and for cyclists planning to visit.
