View of the North. Benjamin, The Preacher. I began preaching in college when I was part of Outreach Ministries. We would travel around to various churches in Minnesota, North and South Dakotas. We took turns preaching and would occasionally lead the worship while the home pastor would preach. I started paying a lot more attention to preaching styles at that point. I am currently pursing aspirations to become a pastor in the ELCA. A good portion of my blog will follow this journey. Enter your comment here.

View of the North. I was raised in Reading Pennsylavina. I grew up and a suburbs guy. I enjoyed music, riding bikes and running. While my interest are much more vast than the list here, what I enjoyed the most was mushing with my father. After graduating from high school I went to Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. View of the North. Benjamin, The Musher. Growing up, I spent a fair amount of time with my dad running sled dogs. While I’m not quite sure what got my dad involved, I know it was him that got me involved. It was a sure thing that we would be up on Saturday mornings from the fall through the spring running the dogs on the local trails. These memories are some of my favorite from my childhood. Bismarck vs. Dubuque. If I’d known 20 years ago! Hit the Ground Running. Moving, then it’s all Greek.

View of the North. Our Daughter is our middle child. She was born in 2011, three days after my (Benjamin) birthday. It is close to impossible for me to correctly tell someone her birthday without mixing it up the first time. Her interests are vast. She enjoys dance the most. Almost every day she turns on music and begins free form ballet in our living room. It is always fun to watch. The little girl can’t sit still very much, but she sits well for ballet performances.
