Writing, reading and writing. My journey. August 9, 2015. Why writing a novel is like filé crocheting. So what do the following two things have in common:. A new work in progress? Well, both are projects that I’ve started recently. The crochet will hopefully become a nice table runner for my dining room table and my novel will hopefully become a record smashing block buster. As some of you might know I lost my son who was fighting in Syria with forces opposed to ISIS. It’s taken me some time to get back any desire to live let alone resume normality. Even though the days are getting longer and the snowdrops are out, winter keeps reminding us that she’s still here and she hasn’t finished having her say yet.
