Expecting a child in Iceland. The calm before the storm? New Eyes →. 14 November, 2009 · 2:50 pm. A week ago…. I was big and all puffy and pregnant. It’s almost hard to believe now. But this is how I looked:. About 18 hours before Harold was born. I’m not so big and puffy right now. Anyway, the next morning at about 6 or 7, I had the first contractions. Less than 9 hours later, Harold was born. Big and strong baby. Harold being dressed for the first time, appr. 3 hours after being born. New Eyes →.

Expecting a child in Iceland. A week ago…. 1 month and King of his home →. 21 November, 2009 · 11:15 am. I am a father, my wife a mother. Without becoming overly emotional or waxing too poetic, I am starting to see the world around me with new eyes. Not the eyes of my son, but my son’s new world through my old(er) eyes. Will he walk on it someday? Will he see a colony on the moon in his lifetime? For that matter, what will Iceland look like for Harold, or Canada, or the world? I can hear my son and his m...

Expecting a child in Iceland. Monthly Archives: December 2009. 6 December, 2009 · 10:11 am. 1 month and King of his home. Harold is aging at an alarming rate. That’s right, our son is now 1 month old and already showing signs of getting even older. He spent the last night letting us know exactly where he was and that he didn’t really know what he wanted (but he wanted something, that’s for sure), basically keeping us on our toes. And we couldn’t be happier. This last month has been both the lon...Blog at...

The team is even now receiving the Royal Order of the Falcon from the President of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, a prestigous award which is usually only bestowed twice yearly, on the National Day and New Year’s Day, so it is quite an honour for the men of the National Handball Team. And we’re all very proud of them. Even me, a transplanted Canadian with no Icelandic blood in him at all. Stay well all, and. From wh...

Eric Clapton in concert | Expecting a child in Iceland

Expecting a child in Iceland. 13 February, 2008 · 8:15 am. Eric Clapton in concert. It was announced earlier this week that Eric Clapton will have a concert in Iceland in August. We’re definitely going! Anybody want to join us? The concert tickets will be on sale from 4 March and my guess is that they will be sold quickly. Only 10.000 tickets are available but that’s considered a BIG concert in Iceland. What would you expect with only 300.000 people living here? 10 responses to “. Eric Clapton in concert.
