Train up a Child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6. Sunday, November 30. We were able to spend a couple of days with Ron's parents in Northwest Ohio! The kids were so excited to help Grandpa build up his wood pile! They love working at Grandpas! We didn't do much else, just eating some yummy food and a lot of relaxing! It was a much needed break from the routine! I'm Blessed to have Fantastic parents and siblings and also to have Great in-laws! This m...

Train up a Child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6. Saturday, December 27. The fun continues, even in the rain! Today was a rainy day at the Gulf, but we didn't let it stop us! As is tradition, we went to Lambert's! They wouldn't hold still for a picture) These 6 had a blast sharing a table together! Then he showed off a bit too! Can't tell by he's juggling 3 rolls, while our kids look on). With the rain it was also a great day to check out the shops!

http://adkinsfamily6.blogspot.com/2015/04/a-night-away.html
Train up a Child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6. Thursday, April 9. Several months ago now, we were given a certificate for a night out! We thought with Easter Week Services behind us, we would take advantage of some time away! After we checked into our room - we found a nearby park. It was a beautiful day and we wanted to take advantage of the sunshine! The boys played basketball. Maddie and I enjoyed the playground equipment. Lowe Live with Five.

Thoughts, updates, and random information :): June 2008

Wednesday, June 4, 2008. Somehow I knew that this would happen. I would excitedly start a blog and then after about two weeks I would get over its newness and henceforth neglect it. Oh well, it's not too late for a fresh start I guess :). Speaking of which, Wes and I are about to begin a new chapter in our lives. I got hired at my old middle school (crazy! Oh, and we visited a church that we felt really at home in and are excited about attending after the move. Whoa! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Viktor an...

Rachel's Blog: September 2008
http://rachelelwoodblog.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thoughts on life, the world, and my job as a writer for a missionary-sending agency. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Looking at the World through God's Eyes. For me, it meant reformatting my iGoogle homepage. I took a deep breath, and deleted the RSS feeds to CNN. Feeling bolder, I then moved my “Verse of the Day” gadget from my random stuff tab (that I looked at once a week) to the main tab, which is in front of my face anytime I open up the Interweb. And I work for World Gospel Mission. When I got home fr...

Thoughts on life, the world, and my job as a writer for a missionary-sending agency. Monday, October 27, 2008. Life, Post-Daddy's Girl. I realize that people in theatre do this all the time – give everything they have to a show, and when it’s over, they move on. But since it’s been about 10 years since I’ve done theatre, I’m allowing myself some adjustment time. And I’m fine with the fact that I process experiences slowly. Has been pretty good, now that I think about it! Thursday, October 16, 2008. Websi...
