A Night of "Wicked"ness. Last night, Mom (Teresa) took us out to see Wicked as a belated Christmas present! The show was amazing and we all had a great time! I was a little bored in the car, I just couldn't wait to get to Salt Lake! Capitol Theater is great! They even had a poster right out front. Everyone else had to pose too! Who could miss out on a memorable moment like this? Mom and Elisa especially were excited! The inside of the theater was beautiful,. They even had a big DRAGON over the stage!

Saturday, March 16, 2013. Xander's First Ice Fishing Trip. Xander got to go on his very fish ice fishing trip this year. I put lots of layers on him before sending him off with his dad. Xander was the fisherman of the day; he caught the first fish, the biggest fish, and the most fish! They had a blast and caught lots of fish! The yellow hat used to be dad's until Xander claimed it as his own. Dad now has a brand new BYU hat instead! Thursday, March 14, 2013. Xander's valentines we made for his friends.

History of the Hinkypunks. Saturday, 27 July 2013. Following in the footsteps of Mattias and Sylvia. Ephraim Oliver McMullin opted as well for a birthdate 14 days exactly over his due date. He was born at 5:50AM, July 24th. - Yes, a Pioneer Day baby. I think as long as he doesn't live in in Utah or Idaho, it won't affect him much. It isn't quite the same as being born on Christmas. Here are some shots of his first day of life. The boys are surprised by the age gap. They make comments like, "When he i...

Thursday, September 5, 2013. We had a great time at Disneyland. It was a first time for Sophia and Colin and I think they both loved it. I was a little worried about how Xander would do with meeting the characters, he's always hid from characters in the past, but he loved it and told us he wanted to meet as many as he could. Disneyland is tiring, this little girls slept through Pirates of the Caribbean. We did go on it again so she got to experience it, and both kids loved the ride.

History of the Hinkypunks. Monday, 8 September 2014. Ephraim couldn't really tell us what he wanted to do for his first birthday, so we just guessed and took him to the zoo. It was a hit! Even more than the animals, he loved running up and down the paths. Here he is racing Asher down a hill, and obviously winning. Asher needs to get training to keep up with little bro. Here are three fierce orangutangs. mom, Asher, and Sylvia. Second most exciting gift: an entire box of tissues, all to himself! His cake ...

History of the Hinkypunks. Monday, 20 July 2015. Three days of June Parties: First, Graduating Noel and Asher. Noel and Asher happened to graduate at the same time this spring. Asher has done online classes over the summers the past couple years, giving him enough credits to finish the requirements of the local high school at the same time as Noel. Neither wanted to walk in the traditional high school ceremony, so we had our own short program during their grad party. Their party was a great success. ...

History of the Hinkypunks. Saturday, 31 May 2014. Thursday afternoons have been Rockclimbing Day the past couple of months. A local climbing business gave homeschoolers discounts for climbing during school hours on Thursdays. A van load (or two) of kids would drive into Madison each week to try this new sport. Here are some shots of the kids in action:. Sylvia would very carefully study out a route. She didn't like going too high. but enjoyed exploring the width of the walls. The kids had fun doing somet...
