Die Villa wurde in den 20er Jahren nach Plänen der Architekten W. Mackensen und F. Torno / Hannover (Architekten des Georgspalastes in Hannover) gebaut. Im Laufe der Geschichte gab es unterschiedliche Nutzungen in den Räumen der Villa. Der Charme des Bauwerks hat jedoch die Zeit überdauert und viele schöne Details wie zum Beispiel Stuckdecken, hölzerne Wandverzierungen und Stab-Parkettböden sind bis heute erhalten geblieben und unterstreichen seinen kulturellen Wert.
