Calla and Janelle, at Villa Coco, would be more than happy to advise whether you'd like to walk along the coastline or catch a boat to remote beaches and other islands. There are "round the islands" boat trips that can take you to other islands: Skopelos, Alonissos, Skyros and a nearby marine park (full day trips). Together with Skiathos, these islands form the cluster called the "Sporades" islands. Also recommended are the two monasteries and a cathedral that are open to visitors and well worth visiting.
