Seeing the Forest AND the Trees: Social Networking, Social Business, and the Future
http://bobuva.blogspot.com/2008/02/social-networking-social-business-and.html
Seeing the Forest AND the Trees. My personal commitment to changing the world, making it a friendlier, safer, healthier place to live. Friday, February 01, 2008. Social Networking, Social Business, and the Future. I'm struggling with how to take advantage as well as how to assess the utility of social networking sites and tools like Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, MySpace and even StumbleUpon. There are some obvious positive scenarios as evidenced by Beth Kanter. But as this article. I'm optimistic that the soc...

Seeing the Forest AND the Trees. My personal commitment to changing the world, making it a friendlier, safer, healthier place to live. Thursday, January 31, 2008. Wired Reading - What Fun! With Maria studying in a paralegal program. Now, we have had less time together. Tonight we got out for a great budget meal at Laughing Planet. One of our favorite coffee shops to read. I brought along a novel by James Rollins called Black Order. But after sitting down, I brought out my new phone, a TMobile Dash. Corpo...

I'm in the middle of re-branding my consulting business (backing of the quilt) that will blend my love for SE Asia and passion to support small NGO's working to support youth and end child trafficking. Currently, I'm working with www.villagefocus.org. More information forth coming. Follow me on twitter - DeniseKer. Posted by Denise Ker at 11:12 PM.

Seeing the Forest AND the Trees. My personal commitment to changing the world, making it a friendlier, safer, healthier place to live. Friday, December 31, 2004. It's sad to read or see the latest news on the earthquake/tsunami crisis in East Asia, India and Africa. Contributing to one of the help agencies is one way to respond and I can only hope that our corporations continue to deliver needed supplies and money on a large scale. Closer to home, I'm reminded by a friend's blog. Ready in my home.

Sunday, April 10, 2011. 280707 the quiet in the land. All photos in this post by K-san. Title of this post comes from this. Struck by the silence and emptiness of the southern end of Lane Xang Ave, a major road within the city centre, and the widest road the cat had seen in Laos.we could stand in the middle of the lanes to take photos. Can't imagine the stretch of Orchard Road outside the Istana in Singapore or Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris being this quiet when not closed off by traffic police.

Can be hard to come across anything infrastructure-related in Laos that wasn't donated by some foreign government/NGO:. Tyre reincarnated as garbage receptacle:. Tagging cargo for the Lao-Thai international bus:. There were quite a few red passports among the maroon (Thai) and blue (Lao) ones on our bus. Laos has bundl...
