As I'm sitting here listening to Ani Difranco on a rainy day in a guest house in Nepal it is amazing how I am here. It is interesting how opportunities and experiences in life can shape and have such a strong impact on your life in the future. If I had missed one of the opportunities/experiences over the past year, would I be here right now? Probably not. Where would I be? What will I do?

Experiencing Nepalese hospitality. - Village Net. May 4th, 2004 06:06 pm. Too bad we were on the bus otherwise, it was totally worth a picture. Anyways, we were quite excited to see the farm, the view from the farm (which was on a hill overlooking the mountains and Bhaktapur! And of course, the buffaloes! Fact: Nepalese farms actually refer to the animals living inside the same house as the people on the first floor, not outside in a barn. So what did I learn from this experience?
