People keep asking me what I'll miss about France and what I'm looking forward to about moving back to the UK. I'm sure that once I'm back I'll find that I miss many more things but these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head:. Postcards from a British family living near Paris. Tuesday, 20 July 2010. Those of you who are Facebook friends with me will know that I've been following the Couch to 5K. Training plan. I've started this many times over the last 2 years and never managed to get past week 2 but yesterday I completed week 5 and ran for 20 minutes without stopping. Postcards from a British family living near Paris. Wednesday, 1 February 2012. I can't believe I haven't posted here since September. Life was jogging along nicely with the children all settled in one school and me enjoying more guided Paris walks and there wasn't really much to report until recently. This, coupled with the fact that Paul's job has changed so that he's travelling a lot more and working in France a lot less, pushed us towards deciding to move back to the UK earlier than planned.

On his way back from England at the beginning of March, Paul's car broke down on the A16, luckily he managed to limp to the services so he wasn't stuck on the hard shoulder waiting for the pick-up truck.
