You know those movies that entertain you until they reach the end, at which point they throw out a massive and unbelievably shocking plot twist which changes absolutely everything that has just happened and makes you have to watch the movie again? You know, movies like The Usual Suspects, Fight Club, The Sixth Sense, etc?

Have you noticed that a lot of new vehicles now have their signals connected to their headlights, such that when the driver turns a signal on, the headlight on that side turns off? That drives me crazy. Do car manufacturers think that all these years we have been unable to see a car's signal when viewing it from the front? I have no idea why this bugs me.

Friday, October 02, 2009. I've been volunteering at The Mess for the last couple of months. It's run through Youth for Christ and teaches art to homeless and at risk youth downtown. They meet every Wednesday at First Christian Reformed Church on Talbot street. An open meal is served at 5:30pm and the art kicks off at 6:30. And the other day I made #6 on thier newsletter.
