Het verhaal van ons samenkomen. Begon in een Italiaans restaurantje waar Katia werkte en elke avond bij de deuropening stond. Ze was zo mooi, dat haar chef uit een soort beschermingsdrang haar niet op het terras liet. Als een havik hield ze haar in de gaten. Hope is ons drijvende huisje. Ze is gebouwd in 1974 in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, 34 voet lang ( -/10,5 meter) en weegt beladen 7 ton. We zeilen met haar in alle weersomstandigheden; van een zacht briesje tot in zware storm. De mast en tuigage zijn essentieel op een zeilboot. Die dragen de kracht van de zeilen.
