Category Archives: Marin Moments. Kicking up the dust on memory lane. August 15, 2014. A long time ago, when I first started blogging and saw the platform not as the opportunity to sell things or brand myself, but yet another way to explore writing in general, my posts alternated between opinion pieces, little essays, and vignettes that tried to capture moments of life in Marin. So here we go with the old post, unedited from the original:. September 16, 2002. On any given day, there is an army of staff r...

Locanda dei Pini - Bed & Breakfast - Cannobio Lago Maggiore
http://www.locandadeipini.eu/it/cannobio.asp
Case Vacanze Lago Maggiore.

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Top Ten Tastes of 2011 - My Favorite Flavors of the Year. Food is definitely subjective and always subject to moods and a host of other variables. However, my criteria in making this list is mostly based on the fact that I would return to any of these places just to eat these foods again. Although I enjoyed most everything we tasted here are the ten foods that stood out for me the most. 10 – ARTICHOKE GARLIC HERB BREAD. From Arcangeli Grocery Company. 9 – CHEESY GRITS. In Ple...

Sip, Swirl, Savor: a wine girl's guide to all things grape : October 2013

Sip, Swirl, Savor:. A wine girl's guide to all things grape. About the Wine Girl. Saturday, October 26, 2013. Oh, those beautiful Burgundian varieties. What I love about Pinot Noir is its food-pairing potential. Either light and earthy or rich and fruit-forward, the Pinot Noirs grown in California can pair with just about everything (roasted salmon, mushroom risotto, pizza, roasted duck, seared ahi tuna, lasagna or past, cheeses and charcuterie.the list goes on and on). Last week, I went to Vin Antico.

Moab, UT: Day 2. Mike debriefed us and let us know that today had some hard climbs, most notably “Hogback” which made me nervous after eating all that bacon… Hit the trail! Roger finds many things joyful in life, one of them being persuading us to wiggle over the edge of 400 ft cliffs with him to watch a rock fall down to the bottom, floating like a feather. It was pretty mind blowing. Big kids! Sleep tight, don’t let the mice nibble on your camelback! October 9, 2011. Categories: the great outdoors.
