On February 15, 2011 · Leave a Comment. One of the things that I thought was interesting that John Berger had touched upon in his TV show is how traditional (esp. Renaissance) paintings are not seen the way they were before. These paintings have been mass produced, replicated and reapportioned in so many different ways by numerous artists that its original meaning has changed drastically. Examples of these can be seen by just doing a simple Google search of famous paintings (i.e. Mona Lisa.
