The Lord’s Supper: Mysticized & Miniaturized. Three sets of verses are considered in connection with the Lord’s Supper. The first comes from the Synoptic Gospels: Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, and Luke 22:14-20. The second is 1 Corinthians 11:20-34. And the third is John 6:53-57. Therefore, the New Testament doctrine of the Lord’s Supper mainly rests on the Synoptic and Pauline verses. To speak of, and the whole practice has been much more unbiblical, ritualistic, and meaningless than people realize.

Because of Your Unbelief. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out? He replied, “Because you have so little faith.” (Matthew 17:19-20). The disciples were unable to cast out a demon from a boy and bring healing to him, so Jesus did it instead. When the disciples asked why they failed, the Lord replied, “Because you have so little faith” (“You don’t have enough faith,” NLT; “Because of your unbelief,” KJV). Because of your unbelief!
