Our Rolling Home Bella the Excella. One family's road trip in search of a new home. Flexibility, Adaptability and Patience. November 19, 2013. Here’s something about myself that some may not believe, I am not patient. I also like to make sure things are in control (my control) and I have been known to freak out a bit when things go awry. I never, ever, thought traveling across country in a 250 sq foot home would teach me lessons in patience, learning to adapt and be flexible on a daily basis. You are com...

Our Rolling Home Bella the Excella. One family's road trip in search of a new home. What you leave behind. December 10, 2012. Recently a few things have happened that have brought home the reality that we are moving. I know, how can I be saying that we are moving for years and years and then just recently things have begun to hit me. We’re leaving New York! We took a trip to Buffalo yesterday and I soaked all the views in. I even ate a “Beef on Weck”! Regional favorite in Western NY. Tags : Beef on Weck.

Our Rolling Home Bella the Excella. One family's road trip in search of a new home. A love affair with Sharon Springs, NY. January 20, 2013. Here are some of our favorite spots in Sharon Springs, NY. A short ride from Cobleskill and 25 minutes to Cooperstown, Sharon Springs is becoming one of the hottest new spots in upstate New York. Boasting beautiful historical houses and a rich history surrounding the spas from the springs, Sharon Springs is a wonderful place to visit. Love Decades with Roger Hazard.

Our Rolling Home Bella the Excella. One family's road trip in search of a new home. January 14, 2013. Decoupage mementos on box. Since my last day of work occurred I’ve been busier than ever. I remember thinking “what am I going to do with myself? There is an insane amount of things to do. The trick (for me) is to make lists and follow them. I look at what we need to do as a project. There are several phases in the project with multiple tasks and possible outcomes. Any best tips to share? I’m so ex...

Our Rolling Home Bella the Excella. One family's road trip in search of a new home. FINALLY. The writing of the journey begins, better late than never, right? November 9, 2013. So, in my “grand plan” I saw myself writing on my blog under a big shady tree, the children playing or riding their bikes nearby and Paul painting. Reality has been sort of different. Really different! WHERE WE ARE TODAY. I thought it appropriate that I begin writing again mid-way through our trip, I think I really needed the time...

Healthy, Easy, Affordable Eats. Skip to primary content. Gluten-free Pizzaschetta, Five Minute Foodie Style! October 27, 2011. As much as I love Upstate New York, I have to admit the weather sometimes tests our relationship. So, I came home and whipped my own gluten free version. After all, pizza is mainly bread, tomatoes, cheese and a few seasonings. I had gluten free bread, tomatoes and cheese – so, what’s wrong with taking a few liberties to satisfy a craving? Three slices gluten free bread. Lay out t...
