Archive for December, 2010. Last words for 2010. December 31, 2010. There is so much I want to share with you on this New Year’s Eve-Eve. So I think that bullet points would probably be most efficient —. For Christmas, R gave me uber-boots. That are keeping my toes oh so toasty. Dwellers of frostbitten places, take note: I love. Which has given rise in my imagination to a sunshine something-or-other string block quilt. I crave sun. I am making these. I secretly want to eat them all. Check out Jane’s.

Use the Loot: Rainbow quilt - done!
http://usetheloot.blogspot.com/2011/08/rainbow-quilt-done.html
Wednesday, August 3, 2011. Rainbow quilt - done! Hot out of the dryer - the rainbow quilt in all its colorful glory! Hey, the back is even centered pretty decently! I started off thinking of using some sort of rainbow stripe for the binding. But I couldn't find a fabric that was exactly right. So, I went with a scrappy binding made from a subset of the rainbow fabrics. Oh, I think it's awesome! How about some more glamor shots? Okay, just one more of that lovely binding (hand-stitched this time! Oh, and ...

Sew Creative: Little Going On
http://iamnotyetvegan.blogspot.com/2010/05/little-going-on.html
Monday, May 3, 2010. I haven't been sewing much lately. In the vintage sheet bee, Jane of Fancy Two. Asked for pinwheels. I looked at all of Rachel's tutorial on PS I Quilt. I decided on pinwheel number 3. This was the first time I have made half square triangles, and I liked the process! I hoped to get a chance to make another pinwheel block, but didn't get the opportunity. Labels: Bee Addicted 2. May 22, 2010 at 1:28 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Sew Creative: A Boy Bag
http://iamnotyetvegan.blogspot.com/2010/04/boy-bag.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. My little boy loves toy cars. He tries his hardest to carry as many cars as he can where ever he goes. He shoves them under his arms, in his arms, and piles them high holding them in place with his chin! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am married to a wonderful man and we have six children ages 10 and younger. I stay home with my kids and homeschool three of the children. It is a lot of work, but we love our busy home and all that God has given us! View my complete profile.

Use the Loot: April 2011
http://usetheloot.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 30, 2011. Finding my lost mojo. Oh, my poor neglected blog! It's been a whole month - I had a work trip, followed immediately by a visit from my mom and sister for Vada's birthday, and then I had to catch up on work. It was just one thing after another! For a few weeks, the only sewing I managed was this birthday outfit for Vada, just another appliqued t-shirt and circle skirt. (Yes, I am a one-trick pony! Isn't she a cutie, though? It doesn't take much to amuse me! Now I need to get crac...
