Felt is unquestionably one of the oldest textile products. Archeological findings have shown the use of felt by Chinese at 2.300 B.C. Επομένως το μαλλί με το πέρασμα του χρόνου και λόγω της πίεσης και της θερμοκρασίας που δημιουργούταν, μετατρεπόταν σε κετσέ. Το δικό μας παρελθόν είναι σίγουρα μικρότερο από αυτό του κετσέ.
