Meaningless musing on many mundane matters. Friday, February 24, 2012. As some of you may know, I am currently training to swim the English Channel. Thursday, February 23, 2012. We had a bit of an adventure last week during school holidays. We flew to Frankfurt on the Saturday, where it was a very sunny -11C at 10am when we landed. After spending the weekend sight-seeing and wearing all the clothes in our suitcase in one go we got the train to a small town called Pfungstadt. Thursday, February 09, 2012.

Thursday, 1 October 2009. Golfing again in the sun. Our golf clubs have arrived! They got sent by air freight from Heathrow as we wqere waaaay overweight and Singapore arilines were having none of it! They dont seem to have an allowance for sports equipment. Anyway, the bags arrived today so we were able to go along for a game of golf in Mt Lawley. The sun shone all day and the temp reached a lovely 20 degrees. Roll on summer! Friday, 9 October 2009. Tuesday golf, WA style. Its nicer to play golf when the sun is shining! Hats, long sleeves and umbrellas are the order of the day - to protect against the very strong sun. The tee shirt is factor 30 protective in itself. Temp was up to 24 in the afternoon. Golf starts very early in the morning - from 6.30!
