Sunday, May 22, 2011. So lately Luke has picked up a few funny habits that I thought I would share! The first one is his insistence on using the word "man" or "bud" at the end of every sentence he speaks! We often say "hey buddy", or "hey bud", and sometimes, "oh man" which he has keyed in on and decided to take in as a part of his own everyday speech! Another favorite word of his lately is, "favorite". Everything is his favorite now! Hopefully that put a smile on someone's face!

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. We recently returned from a week long vacation in Gulfport. MS to visit Eric's Dad and his wife, Debbie. We caravaned. With Eric's 2 brothers and their families who first drove to OK from CO to meet us, then we all made the trek together. It was quite interesting traveling with 6 adults and 6 kids! Needless to say there were LOTS of stops! We still made pretty good time and stayed in an awesome 3 bedroom condo that Eric found! It was right on the beach! It was a lot of fun!

Saturday, June 19, 2010. First off, we had Collin's newborn photos taken yesterday and here is the link to see the sneak peek: Sneak Peek. I'm super excited to see the rest! Collin is doing awesome! He is SUCH a good baby! He pretty much sleeps all the time! Every once and a while he will fuss a little when he's hungry, but other than that, he's usually a super happy baby. At his first weight check, he weighed 5 lbs 10 oz, so he only lost a total of 6 oz! I love love love snuggling with the little guy!

Monday, July 05, 2010. Collin is now 1 month old and growing like crazy! At his 3 week appointment, he already gained 1lb and 4 oz from his birth weight and I'm sure is at least 8 lbs now! The doc said she really just likes to see them back at their birth weight by 2 weeks, so he's well ahead of that! He only added a 1/4 of an inch to his height, but I guess this little guy is more interested in growing horizontally than vertically right now! I can't get enough of him! He does like helping to put diapers...

Sunday, March 13, 2011. I wanted to write a few funny things down that Luke did today in an attempt to have them on record for when he's older so he can see what a nut he was! First off, earlier today, I was telling him what the humidifier was called, and his response was, "fire, hot, don't touch! I had a hard time explaining that the "fier" in humidifier was not the same as fire! Poo poo in the potty! Oh and Luke actually told us he had to use the potty tonight without any prompting!

It started with him pulling up to the standing position completely on his own on Saturday and has snowballed from there! The next day he started crawling, well, his silly army crawl/scoot/inch worm version anyways! The next Day he celebrated his first Valentine's Day, followed his first tooth! Then he decided he would get into the sitting position from his belly all on his own! Stay tuned . . .
