setting up stones: Disneyland!!!!
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2010/03/disneyland.html
Monday, March 29, 2010. I just love it! I grew up about twenty minutes from there and we went so often that I will probably never need a map of the place. It makes me sad that we live so far away from it that my kids have never experienced ALL of it. We are always rushing to try and fit it into one day.impossible! I was certain that KayLi would not want to ride anything but I couldn't have been more wrong! She LOVED the rides! The "Big Cups" was one of her favorites. I miss them :0(. The lines at Disney ...

setting up stones: One Year Ago...
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2010/03/one-year-ago.html
Sunday, March 28, 2010. We saw KayLi's precious face for the very first time. Finally, we had a face to fill the longing God had placed in our hearts. I really can't believe it's been a year.until I look at how much KayLi has grown and changed and blossomed. What an awesomely redemptive God we serve. Disney pictures and a recap of our California trip coming soon.promise :0). Oh, I agree so, Gods redemptive love is amazing! Just look at the change in her countanance! March 28, 2010 at 10:07 PM. It is nice...

setting up stones: A Blessed Easter
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2010/04/blessed-easter.html
Saturday, April 10, 2010. Our Easter celebration started on Thursday with a small egg hunt and a few friends at church. Words can't describe what it was like to watch KayLi listen to the Easter story and enjoy this season for the first time. Overwhelming really. It was so windy that most of the pictures I took had her hair blowing in her face but I love her expression as she told me her eggs were too heavy! KayLi was so excited to feed the ducks! Still windy.you've gotta love West Texas! It was well pass...

setting up stones: Our Adoption Story
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2008/12/our-adoption-story.html
Thursday, December 11, 2008. It's a long story but when you finish reading it, you'll know why. When God is up to something amazing you simply can't leave anything out! I remember very clearly thinking “Wow, God must have an exciting new direction for my life that doesn't involve children.” Did He want me to go back to school and finally have a grown up job? Or did He have a ministry that He wanted me to begin? When He began to call us to adoption I'm sorry to say, I questioned Him. “Us Lord? Terms like ...

setting up stones: January 2010
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 30, 2010. A Long Awaited Duet. Before KayLi's palate surgery, she was unable to drink through a straw. When she would try to blow into a whistle, most of the air would simply come out of her nose. She could barely exhale with enough force to blow bubbles. This duet was music to my ears! Wednesday, January 27, 2010. When I picked up Emily's little make up bag to take it to her room, I noticed that it was unusually heavy. After all she only keeps lip gloss and a little compact in there.

setting up stones: December 2009
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 21, 2009. A Very Blessed Christmas! For the last four holiday seasons my prayer has been "Please Lord, bring KayLi home before next Christmas." God has answered that prayer in His perfect time and in ways I never could have imagined. Not only is she home but she is healed. Glory! While I haven't had time to post, bake a single cookie or even wrap a gift we have been celebrating around here. Ryan and Ana were here last weekend and helped decorate the tree. I love these pictures beyond mea...

setting up stones: Emily went to a birthday party Saturday...
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2010/04/emily-went-to-birthday-party-saturday.html
Sunday, April 18, 2010. Emily went to a birthday party Saturday. KayLi and I stayed home. Emily had a blast on the inflatable slide. Until she decided to see how far down the slide she could jump. Then she ended up in the ER with a severely sprained ankle. Now she has to keep it elevated for 48-72 hours. It's swollen and bruised.very pretty. I am waiting on her like the princess that she is. It's been a lot of fun at our house. Until the Mortin wears off! I hope she feels better soon! A Very Happy Child.

setting up stones: November 2009
http://settingstones.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 26, 2009. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Mama, KayLi China? Tonight as I was putting KayLi to bed she wanted to sing a song about going to China from Ni Hao Kai Lan. So, of course we sang it. When we finished singing this was our conversation:. K: "Mama, KayLi China? M: "Yes, you are from China.". K: " Ahhh, China.". M: "Mama, Daddy, and Emily went all the way to China to get you and bring you to KayLi's house.". She smiled her biggest smile and whispered "KayLi's house.". Since KayLi has...
