http://guinnessandmanicotti.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 8, 2011. The cold has persuaded me to get down to business and utilize my new sewing machine. my sweet husband got me one for my birthday! Started to believe that the worst thing that could happen is. I start over or redo it. The best that could happen is that it's a success. there's no in between, so i need to DO more often. someone remind me of that every so often, please? Thanks. it even has a zipper- woot! The front- it reminds me of my favorite zinnias. Friday, November 4, 2011.

Monday, July 1, 2013. Much A'do About Rhubarb. SO much to do! This weekend I took my scissors to the rhubarb plant again. This is the third round of fruit I've gotten from my wonderful and generous little plant. It's not so little anymore, and I didn't know how big it would get when I bought it on sale at Wal*Mart last summer. It's made me a believer! Facebook that picture, and got several suggestions in response to my "what do I do with this batch? I love you so! From Arctic Garden Studio. 1/2 tsp. ...

guinness & manicotti: Real, Good, Slow Food
http://guinnessandmanicotti.blogspot.com/2014/03/real-good-slow-food.html
Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Real, Good, Slow Food. We came from Charleston, a town with more James Beard Award winners per capita than anywhere ever (that might be not quite right, but it cannot be far off the mark), and I miss good. This was my dinner tonight. Who knew this town had Tapas? It does. Fried goat cheese with cracked-pepper honey. Chorizo-stuffed jalapeno poppers. Sea salt fingerling potatoes (local, of course, and purple! Bacon wrapped dates, crab cakes. Oh my. Musings From A French Cottage.

Sunday, June 30, 2013. Two Christmases ago my Mister got a fly rod and we've been itching to use it. Or learn. To use it, as it were. Last summer flew by, and the fall and spring came and went; it's finally time again. Idaho is prime trout fishing territory- 80% of the trout consumed in the United States is produced in Idaho. How do you like that? I learned that on Good Eats. About two weeks after we moved here. We have got to get on the river! Nope, fishing for kittens. Friday, June 14, 2013. It's a bit...

guinness & manicotti: Trick or Treat!
http://guinnessandmanicotti.blogspot.com/2014/09/trick-or-treat.html
Thursday, September 25, 2014. The trick is that it's already FALL. Already? Okay, not going to lie: I like fall. It's just that I like summer so much more, but we've been over that. It's apple picking time! Potato gleaning time (you'd understand if you lived here). The leaves are turning and nights are getting cooler, red wines come out and Sam Adams and Shiner have put out their Oktoberfest offerings. I might add that New Belgium is peddling their Pumpkick again, and it's even better this year! A couple...
