Virginia and Tennessee Railway. Friday, June 26, 2015. I have "feasted" on many other layouts in the past few months. Now is the time to reduce the level of being a "boomer" and get on with the V&T Rwy. However, the "real thing", both steam and diesel and the NS Steam Program which is MUCH more active this year, will get some of the time. The "starting point" layout design showing basic benchwork and elevations, yards, industries and towns has been completed. That had been bought for them.

Virginia and Tennessee Railway. Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Had the flag out today and in by sunset. It's been less than three months since the last post. Yeah! And there has been more "training" - mixture of model operation, photographing and riding the real thing. But the story here is the V&T Rwy progress. All work/progress has been in the main train room. Some additional cross members were added to the lower level framework for the attachment of terminal blocks. Getting back to work a few days later.
