I've never had to watch someone I love so deeply slip away so slowly. I've lost several people that were very dear to me, but it was quick, sudden. She would often sit like this in the car or the house. We would have some good laughs when she would "sit" next to us on the couch, she would turn around and just back up onto the couch.
