Practicing Intentional Gratitude: October 2007
http://hedwyg.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Feeling grateful for the gifts encountered in my life, one day at a time. Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. William Arthur Ward. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. What I Did Tonight. I remember one year on Valentine's Day, I went around the office leaving those goofy little cards from elementary school on everyone's desk with a Hershey's Hug and a Hershey's Kiss. "Here," I would say, "have a hug and a kiss! It made everyone smile. May your jack-o-lantern light...

Lavender Mud: April 2014
http://gbshortcake.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2014. 1 Event: Sorority Initiation. This was by far the most exciting, life changing experience of the month, possibly the year. Although the entire process was not smooth sailing. In the end it all worked out and I could not be happier. I joined an amazing sisterhood! 2 Song: Hey Brother by Avicii. This song came on the radio while I was driving to school one morning and then again when I was headed home after classes. Ever since I have been obsessed. 3 Movie: Tapped (on Netflix).

Hawai'ian: educated at home. Monday, April 20, 2009. The kids had been asking for several months to check out the local zoo. Funny, after years in San Diego, with yearly passes to their world-famous zoo and wild animal park, you would think these smaller zoos would be a disappointment - but not my kiddos. They love any zoo, no matter how small. The Honolulu Zoo was a fun place for them, and the Norfolk Zoo. The Norfolk Zoo's famous lion twins, born right here. Links to this post.
