New targets for the control of HIV predicted from a novel computational analysis. The WaNPRC is a leader in the development and use of proteomic approaches for nonhuman primate and AIDS research. Proteomics capabilities include global protein abundance profiling, targeted proteomics, and the analysis of post-translational modifications. Protein quantification is obtained using ITRAQ (isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantification) labeling and by label-free intensity methods.
