http://absorballknowledge.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
These are simply the philosophical musings of one guy with an inherent love of learning how things work. Monday, April 30, 2012. Okay, so maybe I was wrong about Unity. I just spent most of the past weekend installing and configuring Ubuntu Studio 12.04 on my 27" iMac. I mean, there are sooooo many excellent music production apps on Linux! Crashes galore...

In the past I used to save everything- but found it to be a burden on creativity. I've opened an account on Freesound.org. Tuesday, August 23, 2011. Another opti...

I have begun to purposely use other phrases for looking up info on the net. I now will say any of the following:. When desperate] "Go Bing it and see! I teach Comput...

These are simply the philosophical musings of one guy with an inherent love of learning how things work. Saturday, September 29, 2012. I get to work with graduate fellows in Computer Science, thanks to a GK-12 NSF grant. The last two years I was privileged to work with Jason Robison, a great, kind person who touched the lives of many of my students. I was lucky to get Jason to help out with our Comp Sci program for two years, and we miss him a lot. That was a gut check, really. I don't avoid facing t...

Wicked Teacher of the West: Who Are You?
http://geek-knitter.blogspot.com/2010/01/who-are-you.html
Wicked Teacher of the West. Who says geeks can't be crafty? Middle school computer science teacher, nerd, knitter and crocheter, with some things to say. Friday, January 08, 2010. During the holiday break, I attempted to declutter my craft closet. The craft supplies are organized by craft in boxes in a closet, but the closet was stuffed to the gills, making it hard to get to many of the boxes, which is a major barrier to doing the crafts. It was time for some of the supplies to go. Do the kids pick up on...
