Monday, January 18, 2010. Fun Times with Emily. In every village we went to there were large Buddhist and Hindu statues that resembled traditional stories and tributes to their religion. Saturday, August 27, 2011. One will quickly learn when visiting Turkey that carpet salesman have the same reputation that car salesman do in the US. Those who are not carpet salesman don't always have the highest respect for them and there is a healthy skepticism that travelers should take when considering purchasing a carpet. HOWEVER, Julianne and I actually found that the carpet salesmen we met were some of the nicest, most genuine, down to earth folks that we met while we were there. Maybe its a combo.

When I was 21-22 I entered inpatient treatment for an eating disorder and got lots of therapy and help to deal with these misconceptions of truth. Monday, April 9, 2012. Do you remember our rental car snafoo? For those of you just checking in. go back several posts and read about our entrance to LA. We rented a car there to return in Denver, must return car by 6:30PM or else we will be charged another $150 - Straight to the airport we go. Thankfully my cousin Jessica, her husband Scott, and daughter Victoria picked us up at the Rental Car return and took us on our last culinary adventure of the week. We hit up a Lucky Pie Pizza.
