I brought along the 15mm f2.8on EOS60D but inadvertently left out the SX50HS! Cant get close but we shall see. The crowd around 5:30pm Overcast sky with hardly any blue. With nothing happening in the sky yet - perhaps some grooming first. didnt know homo sapiens does that too! The first quick appearance - 5 red blacknights coming. Ljen - Bromo Trip.

Several solar disk images from FB showing the partial eclipse from USA and the big sunspot piqued my interest to have a look here too. . Using low elevation clouds as filter i shot the following using the SX50HS handheld or using tree/ lamp post as mono-pod. 24 Oct 2014. caught me by surprise and managed to have one shot of the solar disk in cloud showing the #2192 spot. 2192 Solar Big sunspot.
