Culture in Beauly has a distinctly musical flavour. The village has its own Pipe Band who perform in the square every Thursday evening during the summer. This is also an opportunity to see traditional highland dancing. There are regular ceilidhs - an informal type of Scottish country dance cum party - and dinner dances in the hotels. In October each year the village plays host to Blazin' in Beauly, a weekend of classes, concerts and informal gatherings for fiddlers of all ages and experience.
