Built during the 1820's and 1830's Cleburne was the Homestead of Richard Cleburne's vast country estate on the bank of the River Derwent. Cleburne was known for some years as the Mount Direction Homestead. We are listed as Classified on the National Trust Register. The Australian Heritage Council included Cleburne in the Register of the National Estate under the name - Place File No. 6/01/002/0031. It was described thus:. 1036 East Derwent Highway. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Juan, our new baby Alpaca. April 11, 2010. Juan and his pink muzzle. We have a new Alpaca. New baby Alpaca for Cleburne. Juan was borne during the morning of 21 March, the day after the Tasmanian State election. At his birth, he was snowy white with a pink muzzle, pink rims around his eyes and pink ears. Now, three weeks later, his wool is white-grey, but the pink can still be seen on his muzzle, around his eyes and in his ears. He is the cutest thing. How cute is this?
