Murramarang National Park protects 11,978ha of coastal land between Kiola and Batemans Bay on the state’s south coast. Four offshore islands – Wasp, Grasshopper, Dawsons and O’Hara – are also included in the park, which is divded by the villages of South Durras and North Durras. Murramarang offers visitors a wide range of activites including swimming, surfing, fishing, picnicking, bushwalking and nature study. Common bird life includes parrots, finches, honeyeaters and a variety of sea birds.

Set in an idyllic location, Depot Beach has a choice of 50 campsites and 9 sites have power. All sites are set amongst a backdrop of forest with a short walk to the waters edge. Whether you have a tent, swag, caravan, campertrailer or campervan, Depot Beach has a range of powered and unpowered sites. The fully serviced facilities include hot showers, flushing toilets, a laundry, a toilet for people with disabilities and a baby change area. Barbecues, fireplaces and picnic tables are also provided.

Depot Beach is a fantastic location to base your next big adventure. With a range of fantastic walking, fishing, swimming and surfing opportunities there is lots of fun for the whole family. A plethora of wildflowers and wildlife will keep any enthusiast busy with Murramarang National Park being home to some fantastic species on plants and animals. Rock and beach fishing can provide some excellent results of Salmon, Groper, Snapper and an extensive list of other species.

The fully self-contained cabins at Depot Beach provide an idyllic setting for your next escape. The cabins are set amongst the Spotted-gum forest with eastern-grey kangaroos grazing at your doorstep. There are two Forest Cabins and eight Beach Cabins, two of which provide access for people with disabilities.

Depot Beach is located in Murramarang National Park, south of Ulladulla and north of Bateman’s Bay. The section of road between the Princes Hwy and Depot Beach is sealed. From Sydney follow the Princes Highway 3hrs south through Wollongong, Nowra and Ulladulla. From Canberra follow the Kings Hwy through Bungendore, Braidwood and Bateman’s Bay, from Bateman’s Bay follow the Princes Highway north for 12km to the Depot Beach turn off at East Lynne.
