We planned a couple of stops along the way to break up the journey. the first stop was Three Valley Gap ghost town and later we stopped at Rogers Pass interpretive centre for a picnic. Damian's best impression of a zombie. The Lee's are every where but not necessarily all related.

Recently Katie asked if she and Scott could have some mom and dad time to go for a bike ride. Would you look after Megan for a few hours, she asked? No problem, don't hurry and don't worry, we will have a great time. Megan checks her pack for stale bread and maybe grandma has packed a treat for her too. Nice surprise - Smarties!

Each site is a clearing in the forest with an elevated sand and gravel pad. This ensures the site is always well drained and not subject to flooding. There is a stock pile of cut logs to use as required. Each site has a fire box and the only requirement is that the fire remains in the firebox. More posts to follow.

We were pretty much non-stop action and enjoyed each moment. Here's a few highlights. If you look at Matthew in the background, he too had a Disney character favourite - Buzz Lightyear - and he's activating the arm laser beam to give Princess Megan a zap zap zap! But Princess Megan was quick to return fire.LOL! And tons of smiles.
