For when I want to remember and express . Friday, January 03, 2014. The start of 2014. Because this horse-y year is going to be so exciting, I resolve to try to write something everyday. 1st of Jan - Brought baby M to Pavilion. She was so excited seeing the Christmas tree and was totally captivated by the huge carousel. Cried when we left. Gentoo through the eyes of Vissie (Linux distribution). January 12th, 2011. So I have to tell a story now. Let me take you back to 2007. I was living in Switzerland at that stage. This whole “Linux” thing was really starting to bug me. Why? Because I knew nothing about it. This must change! So I started to ask around. As there is loads of distributions out there, what is the best. Imagine my surprise when I was told by most of my techie friends that there is only one, Ubuntu. But in the end, It booted!
