One of my -old- engineering profs used to say to avoid two things: (1) holding hands and (2) watching TV. The implication was that spending time romancing or in idle entertainment was not conducive to getting an engineering degree. Many people stationed here are here for life or darn close to it. It is not unusual for someone in Security Forces, Missile maintenance or even Missileers to be here for 12, 15 or 20 yrs.
