I was born in 1974 in a small village near Utrecht in Holland. As a teenager already, I knew that one day my roots would stretch much further.". Once on the African continent, Mariska’s photographic career took off, using Cape Town as her base. Her versatility as a photographer, combined with her broad areas of interest, is accentuated by her unique images. Self-taught Mariska enjoys photographing a wide range of subjects, from wildlife to human interest related issues and community shoots.
