November 29, 2014. My husband took me to Sonoma for my birthday this year. The area is not too far from our home, about 1.5 hour drive, so it isn't a bad little getaway when we need a break from reality. We stayed in the town Healdsburg. Which took me about 3 years to pronounce correctly (Heeeelds-burg NOT Harolds-burg). It is a charming town with nice shops and restaurants, and quite picturesque.
