Vegas!: Hoover Dam

Our trip to Las Vegas! Wednesday, March 28, 2012. After the zipline, we drove about 10 minutes down the road to see the Hoover Dam. . . we had lunch there and even walked across to Arizona for a few minutes! This was quite an amazing structure to see and it's hard to believe it was built in the early 1930's. Holly enjoyed the visit and even bought a book with some of her travel money that tells facts about the Hoover Dam. Dinner and the Strip.

Our trip to Las Vegas! Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Today, I went to the Bootleg Canyon Flightline for a ride on our zipline. I say "our" because we invested some money into it. Paul got to ride on it last year, and this time was my turn. We would have liked to have taken Holly, but she is waaayyy to light - she'd likely get stuck half way down the lines! We took a short ride to the where the zip lines start. There is a great view from the top . . . I even saw some big horn sheep. . . Vegas in the distance.

After we left the Hoover Dam, we went for a quick shopping trip at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets (North) - one of my favourite shopping chains, the Chelsea Premium Outlets (where I've shopped in Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii! Just as we were arriving at the shopping outlet, we saw this really weird building. . . which turned out to be the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health! Dinner and the Strip.
