A Sense of Place. I live on the edge of thousands of acres of wild natural forests, but between these forests are orderly plantations of Scotch Pines and hybrid poplars. They create a semblance of order. I have a fascination for older plantations where the growth is beginning to move from order to disorder, gaining identity and character as it grows. More recently I have explored and created a collection of Garden Birds, capture their exquisite expressions and colours using needle felting and hand blending of mostly English wools.
