28 April 2015 FT-7800. I have just purchased the latest software to remotely program my FT-897 and FT-7800. The software came from RTsystems in the USA. Delivery was prompt. I just need time now to have a play. 30 July 2014 FT-897. I was thinking about making an adaptor to use my Avcom AC-200 aviation headset on my FT-897 transceiver when I am away camping so as not to make too much noise. After some research, I am thinking I may just purchase a Yaesu YH-77STA headset. Rotarians of Amateur Radio (ROAR).
