Monday, August 03, 2009. Monday, August 3, 2009 Plimouth Plantation. Today we went to Plimouth Plantation. Yes, I spelled that correctly! It is right outside of Plymouth and it is a settlement of both the Native Americans and the English settlers. The first several pictures show the women cooking turkey soup and then one of their huts. Saturday, August 01, 2009. August 1, 2009 Saturday in Boston and Plymouth. This morning we drove from Salem MA to Boston and we walked the Freedom Trail and went to see the USS Constitution. We also saw Old Ironsides. We saw many people walking in costume and talking in character again today. FUN! After finishing up in Boston we drove on to Plymouth Rock. We walked down from our hotel to see Plymouth Rock-not a big deal-It is a big rock! We did a little shopping but not much damage! Hugs, Mom and sister!
