The Virtual Couch: August 2015
http://thevirtualcouch.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
In a world of thoughts and deeds, I find the couch the ideal venue of discovery! Saturday, August 01, 2015. 60 Seconds on The Virtual Couch - Jase gets back on the couch! The old cliche about time flying is pretty apt when I open this blog page and shake off the metaphorical dust and clear away the virtual cobwebs in order to write another entry here. I remember first creating this blog way back in the ancient history of the internet, when YouTube had literally just started and was all shiny and new.

Connex Whinger: 2005-04-24
http://connexwhinger.blogspot.com/2005_04_24_archive.html
One man's perspective of the daily grind on board the Connex Melbourne metropolitan train system. Friday, April 29, 2005. Here's the summary of our fourth week, looking good! The stats so far show 60% of trains I've gone for getting a green status, 10% orange and 30% red, barely changed from where we were at the end of week two. Posted by Connex Whinger at 9:00 pm. Fri 29 April - Well done Connex. Coming home at 17:38 the same story, no more than a minute late. So, who'd have thought it? Some respite fro...

One man's perspective of the daily grind on board the Connex Melbourne metropolitan train system. Friday, April 22, 2005. Here's the summary of our third week, not as good as last week. The stats so far show 57% of trains I've gone for getting a green status, 11% orange and 32% red, barely changed from where we were at the end of week two. Posted by Connex Whinger at 7:30 pm. Fri 22 April - Good Friday. Posted by Connex Whinger at 6:00 pm. Thursday, April 21, 2005. Thu 21 April - "On time". When I handed...

One man's perspective of the daily grind on board the Connex Melbourne metropolitan train system. Friday, April 15, 2005. Here's the summary of our second week, certainly much better than last week. The stats so far show 56% of trains I've gone for getting a green status, 11% orange and 33% red. So that's one in three either cancelled or delayed even beyond the Connex definition of "on time". I still think Bruce has to go! Posted by Connex Whinger at 9:30 pm. Fri 15 April - Mostly good. Left early as it'...

One man's perspective of the daily grind on board the Connex Melbourne metropolitan train system. Friday, May 13, 2005. Fri 13 May - Station staff. Had a quick chat to a Ripponlea 07:14 regular this morning about the customer service officers on the platform every day. At least they'e not hiding in their little air-conditioned bolt-hole any more! But what do they do? The gunzellers over at www.railpage.com.au. What do they do? Oh and we're on time again. What happened to the 18:35. A few minutes late...

The Virtual Couch: June 2008
http://thevirtualcouch.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
In a world of thoughts and deeds, I find the couch the ideal venue of discovery! Thursday, June 26, 2008. Home safe and sound. Just a quick entry before I go to sleep to let everyone know I am home in Geelong West all safe and sound, despite Hong Kong having a category 8 Typhoon blowing nearish that made weather conditions interesting and our flight home delayed by over an hour (actually meant that my rush from the connecting flight was not needed! Links to this post. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. So Wednesday...

The Virtual Couch: Abortion

In a world of thoughts and deeds, I find the couch the ideal venue of discovery! Tuesday, October 07, 2008. On the news.com.au site, a reader by the name of "Lucy" posted the following opinion, which I think says it all quite succinctly. Well said Lucy and let us hope the upper house members concur and pass the bill. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A blog for Deano.
