Exceptions include November when we hold our Community Garden Awards Banquet and also May, the month of our annual Garden Club Plant Sale and Off-Island Tour. From May to September, members invite the club to visit their private gardens to share knowledge and ideas as well as to socialize. Each spring and fall we enjoy buying trips to our many island nurseries. Shortly after the Plant Sale we take a full day to tour nearby gardens or nurseries in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area. Shopping for plants is often included! Vashon Island Strawberry Festival. Know how to have fun! Check out this video from 2015 HERE. More Strawberry Festival photos can be found HERE.
