How to Join CAVMEN. April 18, 2016. CAVMEN - Chicago Area. VM (and Linux) Enthusiasts. Welcome to the C. CAVMEN is the Chicago area user group for the IBM mainframe VM operating system. The scope of our group has now been expanded to include Linux in the VM environment as well. Our group meets quarterly, usually in the Northern suburbs.
