Saturday, July 12, 2008. Married couple promises holiness. This is a beautiful and rare video of a married couple making perpetual profession in the Holy Family Institute. Fr. Jeffrey Mickler, SSP recorded this video recently. I am so happy to see it on YouTube, because I have been unable to make it to our annual triduum where members renew their profession or make perpetual profession. Thank you, Fr. Jeffrey, for posting this video! Posted by Jeff Young. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Thursday, July 03, 2008. Why a Year of St. Paul? Why St. Paul? It is this great human being, great Saint and our great Patron in the Pauline Family that we are now going to focus on this year. With him as our leader we will experience something of what he experienced, and we will learn to love the Divine Master he loved so much. Slightly adapted from "The Great Apostle," a limited publication of the Holy Family Institute. Posted by Jeff Young. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe in a reader.

Best Catholic Books: June 2011
http://bestcatholicbooks.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 08, 2011. Guest Post: Helping kids deal with death. I invited Sr Anne to reprint her blog post about a new Pauline book that she had more than a little to do with. This November my family will mark the fifth anniversary of Dad's death- and the fifth wedding anniversary for my sister Jane and her heaven-sent Jim. If you haven't been following me quite that long,. It's a great story. For children in primary or middle school; a kind of hybrid puzzle book, one-year journal and catechism.
